I lead product and revenue at Newslaundry, steering its growth and innovation in the news media ecosystem over the past decade. During my tenure, I have helped expand our subscriber base from a few hundred to a thriving community of over 70,000 paying readers. For the last eight years, I have led teams focused on scaling Newslaundry’s product, business, technology, and audience engagement efforts.

My team and I pioneered a subscription model at a time when ad-based revenue dominated the industry, positioning Newslaundry as one of the first Indian media organizations to build a subscription-based news model from scratch successfully.

I have led the development of diverse products, including apps, websites, and native podcast players, bringing innovation to content and revenue streams. I conceptualized award-winning initiatives like Campus Politik and designed revenue models such as NL Sena, a crowdfunding initiative for long-form stories that have raised over ₹30 million.

Before joining the media industry, I worked on climate justice and sustainable development issues. My role with UNEP involved designing and leading capacity-building workshops for students in India, China, and South Korea.

My work has received international recognition, including the World Youth Summit Award by the International Centre for New Media, WAN-IFRA Global Media Awards, Digipub Media Awards, Laadli Media Award, and an honourable mention at the INMA Global Media Awards 2023. In 2022, I was featured in INMA's global 30 under 30 list of media professionals and selected for the GNI-Columbia University Newsroom Leadership Program. I am also among 25 media leaders worldwide chosen for the AI Journalism Lab at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism.
